Java MTB Beneficiaries

Java MTB

Apart from the obvious wine tourism benefits the Java’s main goal is to provide a platform to raise funds for our local community.

In the last 6 years over R 660 000 was raised for our beneficiaries. The 2019 Beneficiaries are Robertson Primary School, Robertson Preparatory School, Robertson High School, Wakkerstroom-Wes Rural School, Goudmyn Rural School and Herberg Children’s Home.

It is a mutually beneficial partnership as the teachers and parents makes up 80% of the work force at the event, responsible for layout and marking of route, registration, marshalling, manning the food stalls and water points etc.

So truly a community effort.
